Marlene holds a Therapist Assistant Diploma, graduating with Distinction in 2013. Additionally, Marlene taught private piano lessons as a Registered Music Teacher, earning “Teacher of Distinction” awards for her students’ achievements, including national gold medals.

With over 20 years of experience supporting pre-school and school aged children in school settings, making connections and building meaningful relationships with her clients have always been a goal. Marlene is passionate about helping children become confident communicators and has a special interest in speech sound delays and language disorders. She believes that learning should be fun and is excited to engage with her clients using a play-based therapy approach to meet their unique personalities and individual needs.

Beyond her professional interests, Marlene enjoys painting, hiking, and playing the piano and spending time with the loves of her life, especially her grandsons
